Error: Cannot create data map due to zip codes not formatted correctly.
Error:
A column of data in your selection must contain geographical data.
Cause:
The zip codes used to create a data map are not formatted with the special zip code number format.
Solution:
Format the zip codes with the special zip code number format.
1) Select the cells containing the zip codes.
2) Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Cells...'. (The Format Cells dialog box appears.)
3) Click the 'Number' tab.
4) Select 'Special' from the 'Category' list box.
5) Select 'Zip Code' or 'Zip Code + 4' from the 'Type' list box.
6) Click 'OK'.
